St Andrews College was founded as an Anglican Church school in 1855. Our Chapel is at the heart of everything we do at College.

The Statement of Faith was drafted by the Council and the Chaplain in consultation with the Dean and various other stakeholders in the College community. It seeks to answer this question, “What does it mean to be a Christian school?”

The Statement outlines the role the Anglican church plays and the way in which we practice Christianity in the life of the College and is the overarching declaration of our fundamental beliefs and values. All other policies and practices within St Andrew’s College are aligned to it.
