The Matric Final Assembly is a celebration of the culmination of a five-year journey at St Andrew’s College. It is a memorable and joyous occasion, filled with laughter, friends, and accomplishment. After the assembly, and as part of the Old Andrean Induction, our Grade 12 pupils proceed through a tunnel made up of College staff and pupils and are led by a member of the Pipe Band through our beautiful campus, passing the iconic Clock Tower to the Antony Clark Andrean Resource Centre where they were congratulated by the Headmaster Mr Tom Hamilton. They sign out of the register and were also congratulated by the OA President, Dr William Fowlds (Armstrong 1988). After this ceremony, they proceed through the arches of the Clock Tower to The Highlander where they enjoy their Matric Luncheon. This event signifies the ending of their journey as College pupils and their continuation as part of the family as Old Andreans. We wish all our Matrics the very best of luck as they venture into the future.
