The Transformation and Diversity department along with the Design department recently ran a competition for all staff and pupils from our Family of Schools to design a Women’s Day flag that will be raised in the month of August to celebrate Women’s Day.
The flag symbolises College’s commitment to addressing issues of unfair labour practices, human trafficking, and Gender-based violence.
8 stunning and meaningful designs were entered by pupils, and a staff member from Red Alert, College, and Prep each. The top two flags will be flown on the College flagpole outside Espin and Armstrong House. The winners for the top four designs are:
1st place – Alexandra Murray, DSG Grade 9
2nd place – Ms Nicola Verwey
3rd place – Neema Kholiso, DSG Grade 9
4th place – Elizabeth Searle, DSG Grade 9
