Due to his injury, he could not participate in the 15/16 Year old Kumite Division.

Over the past weekend (3 and 4 June) Galliano participated in the Nelson Mandela Bay/ISKA Eastern Province Karate Championships held in Despatch. This event was also a chance for athletes to qualify for the South African Championships in  Stellenbosch at the beginning of October.

Galliano won 5 Gold medals Kumite (Best fighter), Kumite 13/14 Yrs, Traditional Kata, Creative Kata and Traditional Weapons.
