The Johannesburg School of Finance spent three days at St Andrew’s College/DSG this week to run a business simulation day called Banango Traders.
The Grade 12 Business Studies class completed the programme on Monday. The Grade 9 EMS was completed on Tuesday and the Grade 12 Accounting pupils were involved on Wednesday. The Grade 12s were able to complete one of their major portfolio requirements for the Matric Portfolio through this process and have also acquired some basic business skills. The simulation game involves business decisions regarding marketing and market share, cash flow and profitability, among others.
