No matter where you look, there is art. It is part of what makes us human as we move around and engage with the many activities on campus. Consider the excellent design of our buildings, classrooms and gardens. The goose bump feeling when we sing our school hymn or listen to our Pipe Band playing Highland Cathedral. Through Art we connect across cultures and subjects in a unique way.
Friday 14 May saw the very first Arts and Culture Marathon at St Andrew’s College and DSG. Much fun was had by boys, girls and staff as they stepped out of their comfort zones to participate in, and experience, a variety of activities. A day like this cannot happen successfully without the hard work and commitment of an enthusiastic team of staff members. BRAVO and a sincere word of gratitude to all the staff who were involved in presenting a vast variety of visual and performing arts workshops across the two campuses. Watch this space for the Arts and Culture Marathon 2022.
