A warm welcome to Rev Richard Wyngaard

St Andrew’s College is delighted to warmly welcome Rev Richard Wyngaard, his wife Christine and triplet sons: Joshua, Jesse and Jamie to the Andrean community. He joins us as Chaplain of St Andrew’s College and Prep.

Rev Wyngaard is a leader, teacher and influencer. He studied at the South African Theological Seminary where he obtained his Bachelors in Theology (BTH). He has previously lived in Grahamstown in the early 1980s and more recently he was the Canon of the Anglican Diocese of Grahamstown in 2010 and later completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Rhodes University in 2012. Rev Richard Wyngaard has been employed in both management and executive positions and in various churches in South Africa, his most recent position was as Chaplain at Hilton College in Kwa-Zulu Natal. His personal interests and hobbies vary from being an accomplished musician (violin and guitar), an amateur photographer and a competitive mountain biker who competes in marathons and extreme cycling events. He is also an internationally certified Mountain Bike Skills Coach.

We wish Rev Wyngaard and his family all of God’s richest blessings, and a long and happy association with College.
