Robbie Kirkpatrick has achieved the Gold Standard of the President’s Award, which is affiliated with the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
Robbie has been actively involved in the service component and he has completed 72 hours of community service over the past year. These hours extended over a variety of areas:
• Helping with the setting up of venues for school dances,
• Co-ordinating and organizing various community service events along with the committee members,
• Serving on the Community Engagement committee.
Robbie’s sport component was Water Polo where he has been a committed member of the 4th team.
The Grade 10 John Jones Fish River Journey qualified as his Adventurous component of the award.
Robbie’s participation in the Model United Nation’s Debating conference in Dublin, qualified as his residential project, where he demonstrated commitment to self-development, constant challenge and growth.
Robbie’s skill that he has acquired is photography and videography. He has been actively involved with the marketing department at school and he has a brilliant skill with the filming of drone and video footage. He has edited many videos and produced excellent end products, which are used in various marketing campaigns at College.
