Our neighbours, Graeme College, hosted us on Saturday for a warm day of Rugby. The weather played the part and the conditions were excellent.
The U14s did well winning their matches, including a very good second half from the As. The U15s had a tough day and lost narrowly in both of their games.
The U16s enjoyed a narrow win for both their teams. The 5ths and 3rds had run away wins against a tired looking Graeme senior group. The 2nds won 42-5 – this game is normally very tight and could be our first win away at Graeme in recent times. This was a very impressive display from our WILD DOGS.
The 1st XV started really well and were up 21-0 early in the game. Graeme College then fought back well and the score at half time was 21-12. The boys played much better in the second half and scored some good tries. The final score was 47 -19 to St Andrew’s College.
Thanks once again for all the support from the staff, parents and the loud singing crowd.
