Author Randolph Vigne visits St Andrew’s College

Randolph Vigne was a founder member of the only white SA movement to wage a bombing campaign against apartheid. He was born in Kimberley in 1928 but grew up in Port Elizabeth where he joined the Van Riebeeck Society in 1941. He was educated at St Andrew’s College, Grahamstown and was Head boy of the College in 1945. He visited Grahamstown to launch his book, The South African Letters of Thomas Pringle. He visited St Andrew’s College and addressed the Grade 8 and 9 pupils from St Andrew’s College and DSG in the College Chapel.
