Seven thousand candidates from around Southern Africa wrote the SACEE De Beers English Olympiad this year. Hodago Minney excelled in being placed in the top 50. This is a notable achievement in this challenging Olympiad. The Olympiad is held in such esteem by universities that Rhodes awards a bursary of a year's free tuition to the top 50 candidates.
