Climb the Clock Tower
Date : 15th March 2010

St Andrew’s College and the Diocesan School for Girls pupils recently participated in ‘Climb the Clock Tower Day.’ It was a fun filled day with vibrant music and great excitement. Three stations of varying difficulty were set up on different sides of the amazing building. The stations were busy from 11:00 am until 16:00 pm, and the event was a great success.  Staff, Boys & Girls managed well to climb the daring feat, over 70 people in total climbed. Half the proceeds went to HIV children to purchase watches for them so that they can learn to take their anti-retrovirals on time. The other half went to the Rhodes University Climbing Club for their Mount Kilamanjaro trip. Rhodes University’s Climbing Club were a great help and thanks go to all those involved.
