HIPSB2 Ambassadors

Michael-Jon Rosslee of St Andrew’s College and Justine Lowe of the Diocesan School for Girls have been chosen as HIP2B2 ambassadors. There were over 400 strong applicants from across the country and this is an excellent achievement for them both.

HIP2B2 was launched in 2002 as part of the First African in Space Campaign. The idea was to make Mark Shuttleworth’s adventures in space, and the scientific research orbit, available to learners. HIP2B2 aims to be the best teen ‘edutainment provider’ in South Africa and want to make Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship and Mathematics fun for learners. HIP2B2 wants to inspire young people to put their brains to good use, and ultimately to be the best that they can be.

Michael- Jon and Justine will attend their first weekend with the new HIP2B2 team in Cape Town early in March.
