Marisa Fassler, SA Economist interviewed at DB Wylde Leadership Indaba
Date : 11th June 2009

Marisa Fassler, Diocesan School for Girls past pupil (Crewe 1992), visited DSG and St Andrew’s College on Monday 8 June 2009 as the third DB Wylde Leadership Indaba guest. She is presently the Chief Director for Macroeconomic Policy and Analysis in the National Treasury.  Marisa spent the day talking to the pupils of DSG and St Andrew’s about the impact of the global economy on South Africa and how it affects our fiscal policy and economic decision-making.  She also addressed the DSG Assembly and was interviewed in the Highlander in the evening by Ross Thompson and Kate Trollip in front of an appreciative and distinguished audience.  Once again, the pupils and staff of DSG and St Andrew’s College were privileged to have the opportunity to learn from, and be inspired by, an extraordinary leader who is passionate about South Africa and is actively contributing to the improvement and stability of its economic policy.
