NEC ASPERA TERRENT . EMBRACING NEW FRONTIERS
Back to school!
Date : 15th January 2009

St Andrew’s opened the year with its highest enrolment for 30 years, a record intake of 117 newboys. As incoming Head of St Andrew’s College, Paul Edey was struck by the diversity of the 2009 intake which he believes will further enrich the College. Mr Edey said that Education in South African faces huge challenges and the Eastern Cape is amongst the poorest performing provinces. “I should like to extend a warm welcome to all learners in Grahamstown, especially those starting high school for the first time and hope that this school is able to make a difference, not only to learners at St Andrew’s College, but in the broader Grahamstown community,” said Paul Edey.
