FAQs

1How does my child travel to and from Grahamstown?
St Andrew’s College runs a Travel Office for all pupils at St Andrew’s Prep, St ANdrew’s College and DSG. Ann Bryan is the Travel Co-ordinator and should be the first contact for all travel information (including appropriate flight times) beyond the actual booking and payment for flights. Email: travel@www.sacschool.com. Anne’s most important function is to ensure all children needing flights at beginning and end of term have their air tickets and necessary ID documents and are on a road transfer bus/taxi list to and from Port Elizabeth Airport in line with their flight bookings. She also books all taxis and coaches for this travel as required.
2What happens when my child get sick?
Boarder Preppies who are ill during term time will be looked after at the St Andrew’s College Sanatorium, run by two qualified nursing sisters. Our school doctor visits boys in the sanatorium when necessary. Day pupils may rest in the Prep SAN room until they may be taken home by their parents.
