NEWSFLASH: The Millennium Bracelet, launched by Edgars aims to highlight the eight different Millennium Development Goals set out by the United Nations in 2000. The bracelets in eight different bright colours correspond with each one of the Millennium Development Goals, such as achieving universal primary education and promoting gender equality. All proceeds from the bracelets go to supporting the disadvantaged woman-crafters who make them as well as to eradicating extreme poverty and hunger, promoting gender equality and empowering women, among others. DAT Testing (compulsory aptitude testing) will take place on WED 8th February in the Centenary Hall. All Grade 8s and the boys who are new to the school in Grade 9 must report to the Centenary Hall at 7:30am in normal school uniform. Please bring a pen, pencil and eraser and something to read in case you finish some tests early. This testing will take place from 7:30 am to 1:00pm. (Jane Jarvis)
SPORTS CLOTHING: Just to clarify the situation with regards sports dress. You are required to wear your blue-striped golf shirt and blue shorts to class after lunch, or you can stay in your greys. You still need your white College T-shirts for sports practices and for wearing around campus after hours. (PHA)
