DAY 15 - the end is in sight....

Group 1 - Hike to Fraser's Camp:
The group set off early this morning and reached Fraser's by 11h30. Despite the heat in the valleys it was a good 15km hike and the group is really looking forward to their activity day here tomorrow.

Group 2 - Canoe to Carlisle Bridge:
No report as I have not seen them.

Group 3 - Cycle to Grasslands:
The most exciting part of this cycle is the ride up to the Grasslands camp through the Sam Knott Reserve. The group saw hartebeest, eland, giraffe and wildebeest. Tonight they are enjoying a braai with red meat and veggies with group 4. Tomorrow they will run to Osborne.

Group 4 - Hike to Grasslands:
This was a relatively easy hike and the group reached Grasslands camp before lunch. They enjoyed burgers for lunch and then a braai for supper. The group is in good spirits and looking forward to cycling through the reserve to Huntshoek tomorrow

DAY 16 - Last full day of journey

Grp 1 - Activity at Fraser's camp:
This group has been staying at an awesome campsite and have had great fun playing in a clay quarry with water in it.... say no more. Today they all rode about 1 kilometer of rip lines across the gorge. It was great fun. Tomorrow they cycle to the mouth.

Grp 2 - Canoe to Carlisle:
I still have not seen this group but reports are that they had a good day on the river and reached Grasslands by lunch time. They will run to the mouth.

Grp 3 - Run to Rangemore:
This was a tough day for Group 3. Not made easier by tired children who did not want to run. Tomorrow they will canoe into the mouth.

Grp 4 - Cycle to Huntshoek:
Great ride today for Group 4. Not too many hills and some awesome down rides. They are staying on top of a hill with the most awesome views of the Fish below. They will run to the mouth tomorrow.
