News from Chris Campbell:
I rowed for College 1987 - 89. In 1989 I was the boatman and won the
first inter house sculling competition in 1988 and 1989.
After college I went on the row up until 1997. Over that period I rowed
for Old Edwardian rowing club in their first eight and first four.
In 1994 I was lucky enough to represent South Africa under the Trident
rowing club at Lucerne regatta. We were rowing in a light weight
cox-less four and only managed to make the C final but what an
experience. In 1996 I moved to London and rowed for London rowing club
at Henley. My last outing in a boat was in 1997 and boy do I miss it.
I am so please to see College rowing doing so well. We always dreamed
of winning and dominating South African rowing the way college is now.
I wish you all the best for the future and may the proud tradition of
rowing continue to grow at college.

Hi guys.
thought I'd visit the old school site and thrilled to find rowing having such great coverage ! Well Done!! Now lving in Aberdeen Scotland and have even been out sculling on a few occasions (In the summer!!) I rowed for College first eight in 1976, first four and Border in 1977. Our results were nothing like yours unfortunately but am very proud to know the college oarsmen are doing so well. Keep up the good work. Best wishes to you all.
